Joel Osteen Vs. God's Word

Joel Osteen Says:

It's God's will for you to live in prosperity instead of poverty. It's God's will for you to pay your bills and not be in debt.

But the Bible says:

Now there is great gain in godliness with contentment, for we brought nothing into the world, and we cannot take anything out of the world. But if we have food and clothing, with these we will be content.
(1 Timothy 6:6-8, ESV)

Joel Osteen Says:

If you want to rear financial blessings, you have to sow financially.

But the Bible says:

Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.
(Matthew 6:19-20, ESV)

Joel Osteen Says:

You may make some mistakes-but that doesn't make you a sinner. You've got the very nature of God on the inside of you.

But the Bible says:

If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us... If we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
(1 John 1:8-10, ESV)

Joel Osteen Says:

We were old sinners - but when we came to Christ we are not sinners anymore.

But the Bible says:

The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am [am, not was] the foremost.
(1 Timothy 1:15, ESV)
